A Poem From Cassie

You left us so quick
It was just so unreal
We remember the feeling
and thinking "How are we supposed to feel?"

We didn't want to be sad
Because you would never want that
We tried to be strong
But with tissues soaked of tears
we all just sat

Sat and looked and the door
Expecting to see you run in and say SURPRISE!
But we never heard your voice
so we just wiped more tears from our eyes

It was so hard
to deal with the pain inside
Because when you left us
Inside a little piece died

It still doesn't seem real
and probably never will
Because when you left dancing in the rain
Lost a bit of its appeal

Through the good times and bad
We will always remember
What happened on the 11th
of December
